Entertaining Audio Tour from Richmond to Columbus

September 21st, 2007 · No Comments

Kiss goodbye those boring road trips and make long journeys fly by with a little history and some entertaining commentary!

The Museum of the Open Road brings highways to life by providing an audio guide that discusses the
people, history, geography and—especially—stories that are unique to the areas you will drive through.

Traveling east along route 70 from Richmond to Columbus you will pass Huffman Prairie, the site where the Wright Brothers refined their flying machine after its initial success at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

As you approach Columbus, you’ll enter the hometown of the world’s first fast food chain and discover the background to one of the United State’s most recognized businesses.

There are many other interesting sites along this route, but we’ve got to give you some surprises!
