Three New Artineraries Tours in Italy

Posted in: Italy

Following the huge popularity of Artineraries’ Sistine Chapel, Torino and Da Vinci Code audio tours, LoDingo.com has released three new Artineraries guides that are sure to please those planning a trip to Italy.

The new tours cover two of Italy’s great Basilicas - in Padova and Assisi - and the pantheon in Rome.

Visitors to Assisi, also known as the ‘Hill of Heaven’, will be astounded by one of the most breathtaking fresco cycles in the history of art and will enlightened by the tales of St. Francis, one of the most revered persons in Christianity.

In Padova, you will view the Scrovegni Chapel.  Also built by Giotto, this masterpiece was the first private family chapel in Italy.

The 2000-year-old Pantheon was built as a temple for all the Gods and is arguably the most important building in the history of architecture.  You’ll hear about it’s construction, its religious significance and the tombs of Kings and other famous Italians buried there.
